A 100+ bedded nursing home in Dudley currently has full time vacancy for a Clinical Unit Nurse Manager

The home offers elderly and dementia care along with care for younger adults who suffer with disability and is owned and operated by one of the UK’s leading health and social care groups.

Details of this Unit Nurse Manager position and what the home is offering:

•             A permanent contract to work 36 hours per week on day shifts. Some flexibility may be required due to the seniority of the role

•             A fantastic hourly rate of £19.00 per hour, which is in line with NHS Band 6 salary earnings, and equates to £35,568

As Unit Nurse Manager, you will coordinate the planning and implementation of care within a small unit within in the home, along with managing and monitoring service delivery.  You will lead and develop the care and nursing team, motivating the teams to deliver the best possible standards of care and quality of life.

The successful candidate for this Unit Nurse Manager position will be:

•             NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA.

•             Ideally experienced in a leadership or managerial capacity in a UK nursing home setting

•             Demonstrate good working knowledge of DoLS and MCA in addition to Care Inspectorate essential standards and medication management requirements

•             Able to effectively create and manage care plans and undertake clinical risk assessments
