£19.00 p/h (NHS Band 6) – Circa £41.4k | 42 Hours – Days | Large Nursing Home | RGN/RMN/RNLD Considered

An experienced Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) is required to work as Clinical Unit Manager of a large nursing home in Walsall.

The home specialises in elderly and dementia care but also has units dedicated to supporting younger adults with disability care needs.

Details of this Unit Nurse Manager position and what the home is offering:

•             A permanent contract to work 42 hours per week, working 3 X long days and 1 X 6-hour, supernumerary day

•             A competitive pay rate of £19.00, which is equivalent to NHS Band 6, and comes to an annual salary of £41,496.

As Unit Nurse Manager, you will coordinate the planning and implementation of care within a small unit within in the home, along with managing and monitoring service delivery.  You will lead and develop the care and nursing team, motivating the teams to deliver the best possible standards of care and quality of life.

The successful candidate for this Unit Nurse Manager position will be:

•             NMC Registered Nurse - Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD

•             Demonstrate previous experience in a leadership role in a clinical setting, ideally within the UK nursing home sector

•             Good understanding of regulatory frameworks

•             Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to delivering the highest standards of care
