My client is currently recruiting for an experienced RGN or RMN to work as Deputy Manager in their elderly and dementia care home Tunbridge Wells.

Details of this Deputy Manager RGN/RMN vacancy and what our client is offering:

•             40 hours per week on permanent days

•             Some weekend work, undertaking night visits and adapting your rota to suit the needs of the business to support staff within the home

As Deputy Manager RGN/RMN you have responsibility for assisting in the day to day management of the service and care team.  As part of the management team you will have responsibility for ensuring that the service operates successfully ensuring the best possible care is provided to our residents.

You will be expected to have a hands on approach to working with the nursing and care assistant teams ensuring the highest standards of professional practice, ensuring all the needs of the residents are individually catered for.

Applicants for this Deputy Manager RGN/RMN position should be/have:

•             NMC Registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN

•             Previous experience in a senior or managerial role within a care home setting demonstrating excellent leadership skills

•             Good knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards relevant to this sector of care

•             Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•             Passionate about providing high quality care
