£45,000 - £48,000 p/a | 40 Hours – Days | Elderly Nursing Home – Good CQC

A 40 bedded elderly and dementia nursing home in the Woking area is currently looking to recruit an experienced RGN/Adult Nurse to join their leadership team as Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead Nurse.

The fully CQC compliant home is locally owned and operated and provides round the clock care and support to older people from the local area in a fantastic setting.

Details of this Nurse Deputy Manager position and what the home is offering:

  • A fixed term contract of to work 40hours per week, usually working days but with some flexibility required for supervisory and quality monitoring purposes
  • Depending on experience the home is offering a salary in the region of £45,000 to £48,000, which is in line with top Band 7/Band 8 pay rates in the NHS

As Nurse Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning and delivery of care and will ensure care plans and medication records are correctly updated, undertaking regular clinical audits and supervisions.

What we are looking for:

  • NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA
  • Currently working at Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager level or equivalent in a UK care home and have good working knowledge of CQC essential standards and quality monitoring framework
  • Confident leading a team and coordinating care, with a positive, proactive approach to leadership
  • Passionate about high standards and providing care without compromise
  • Flexible to meet the needs of the home
