An RGN or RMN Registered Nurse with clinical management experience is required to work as Deputy Manager of a leading Braintree nursing home.

The fully CQC compliant home specialises in providing elderly, dementia, physical disability and sensory impairment care packages.

Details of the Deputy Nursing Home Manager vacancy are as follows:

•              A permanent contract of 40 hours per week, working flexible day shifts. Hours split into floor and supernumerary

•              A fantastic annual salary of £45,000, which is in line with NHS Band 6/7 rates of pay

•              A comprehensive induction, with ongoing training and development

•              The opportunity to help lead a fully CQC compliant home with a fantastic team in place

As RGN/RMN Nurse Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence.  You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning and delivery of care and will ensure care plans and medication records are correctly updated, undertaking regular clinical audits and supervisions. 

What we are looking for:

•              NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA or Mental Health Nurse/RMN/RMHN

•              Currently working at Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager level or equivalent in a UK care home

•              Ideally have completed a recognised management qualification, or are willing to undertake this

•              Passionate about high standards and providing care without compromise

•              Flexible to meet the needs of the home

•              Strong clinical skills required
