A medium to large nursing home in Pakefield is looking to hire a Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RMN to work as a Nursing Home Manager.

The highly rated home cares for a number of elderly residents who suffer from various health conditions, but the staff specialise in dementia care. The staff strive to provide only the best care to all residents to make sure they have a good quality of life.

About the Nursing Home Manager role and what the home is offering:

•             A permanent full-time contract of 40 hours per week on day shifts. Some flexibility may be required to shift patterns given the seniority of the role.

•             A competitive annual salary of £65,000 (DOE), which is in line with NHS Band 8C salary earnings, with additional bonuses based on excess profit.

As Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the home, ensuring a high-quality and cost-effective service which meets the needs of residents and exceeds regulatory requirements.

You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management, and will monitor, coach, and support the care, nursing teams.

What we’re looking for in a Nursing Home Manager:

•             NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN

•             NVQ Level 4 or 5 in management or equivalent is preferred.

•             Previous experience as a Home Manager is essential.

•             Able to prove a previous track record for providing excellent care

•             Understanding of the legal requirements such as Health and Social Care Act/CQC regulations/ KLOEs and rating characteristics.

•             Excellent clinical knowledge and understanding

•             Be fully vaccinated or willing to have the vaccination.
