£45,000 - £55,000 p/a (NHS Band 8) | Full Time | Days | Home Opening in 2022

A residential home in the Redditch is opening in 2022 and has a vacancy for a Residential Home Manager to lead and develop the lead.

Details of this Nursing Home Manager position and what our client is offering the successful candidate:

•              A great annual salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum which is in line with NHS band 8 salary earnings

•              A permanent, full-time contract usually working hours will be a weekday day shift, some flexibility will be required for quality monitoring purposes, on-call duties etc… due to the seniority of the role

•              A comprehensive induction with ongoing training and development

As Nursing Home Manager, you will coordinate and oversee the day to day running of the home, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service that doesn’t compromise on quality of care or life. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the clinical and non-clinical teams in addition to managing budgets and resources.

What the home is looking for in a Nursing Home Manager:

•              Will hold a recognised management qualification – NVQ/SVQ Level 4/5, RMA or Diploma Level 5

•              NMC registered Qualified General Nurse/RGN or Registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN will be considered

•              Extensive experience in managing a UK nursing home is preferred

•              A strong leader and able to motivate, lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff

•              Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a UK nursing home

•              Financially aware and able to manage and adhere to budgets
