A highly rated nursing home in the Leeds area is looking to hire a Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RNLD/RMN to work as a Nurse Deputy Manager for the home. This home cares for a number of elderly residents who suffer with various health conditions, the home specialises in dementia care, and strives to provide only the highest level of care to all residents, aiding a good quality of life.

About the Nurse Deputy Manager role and what the home is offering:

•             A permanent full-time contract of 42 hours on day shifts

•             An hourly pay of £18.18 which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates of pay and comes to an annual salary of £39,705.12

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning and delivery of care and will ensure care plans and medication records are correctly updated, undertaking regular clinical audits and supervisions.

What we’re looking for in a Nurse Deputy Manager:

•             NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Registered Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD

•             Experienced in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a clinical setting, ideally within the elderly care sector is desired

•             Demonstrate proven elderly and dementia care experience

•             Confident leading, developing and motivating a team of Nurses and HCAs

•             Demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC essential standards

•             Good organisational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills

•             Good clinical knowledge and understanding
