An experienced Nursing Home Manager with a background in elderly care is required to lead and develop a large care home in Walton-on-Thames.  This is a not for profit organisation and they provide round the clock care and support to older people with a range of care and support needs.

Details of this Nursing Home Manager role and what the post-holder will receive:

•             A permanent contract to work 37.5 hours per week, usually working days but with some flexibility required due to the seniority of the post

•             A great annual salary in the region of £45,000 to £48,000 depending on experience

•             Life assurance and pension

•             Generous annual leave

As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall clinical and operational performance of the home and will manage and coordinate staff, budgets and resources in addition to marketing the home and supporting with a planned expansion.  You will lead by example and be a competent clinical practitioner.

Applicants for this Nursing Home Manager post should be:

•             NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN

•             Demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience working as CQC Registered Manager in an elderly care setting

•             Able to effectively manage staff, budgets and resources, ensuring a cost-effective service which doesn’t compromise on care

•             Have excellent knowledge and understanding of all legislation relating to care services

•             You must have a drivers licence and access to a vehicle
