£40,000 - £45,000 p/a | 40 Hrs | Days | Elderly & Dementia Care | Good CQC | 50/50 – Clinical & Supernumerary

A leading East London elderly nursing home is currently looking to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with management experience to work as Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead.

This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading elderly care charities and work in a fully CQC compliant home and contribute to the excellent standards of care and living they offer.

Details of this Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager RGN/RMN/RNLD position and what the successful candidate will receive:

  • 40 hours per week on a permanent basis
  • Day shifts only, with occasional weekends required
  • A great annual salary in the region of £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Duties split equally between clinical and supernumerary

As Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager RGN/RMN/RNLD, you will take responsibility for the clinical management of the home, and your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking assessments for new/prospective and existing residents
  • Coordinating and managing the care and nursing staff, including supervisions and appraisals
  • Ensuring care plans are correctly updated and taking the lead on all aspects of care planning
  • Undertaking risk assessments

Applicants for this Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager RGN/RMN/RNLD position should meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Adult Nurse/RGN, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD
  • Up to date NMC registration
  • Experienced in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a clinical setting, ideally within the elderly care sector
  • Demonstrate proven elderly and dementia care experience
  • Confident leading, developing and motivating a team
  • Ideally experienced with electronic care planning, and demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC essential standards
