A large elderly nursing home in the Giffnock area is currently looking to recruit an experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD to work as Night Staff Nurse on a full-time, permanent basis.
What the home is offering and details of this Staff Nurse position:
- A permanent contract to work 33.75 hours per week on 11.25 hour day shifts of 8am to 8pm
- Excellent rates of pay of £17 per hour, which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates of pay and an annual salary in the region of £29,835
- Paid handover

As Registered Nurse, you will manage and implement care for a caseload of residents in the home, ensuring care plans are up to date and meeting both resident needs and legal requirements. You will also safely manage and administer drugs and medications in addition to leading a team of HCAs on shift in the delivery of high-quality care.
What our client is looking for in a Registered Nurse:
- NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD
- Ideally demonstrate some post-registration experience (preferably within an elderly care setting)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive approach and committed to delivering the highest standards of care
