A large elderly and dementia nursing home in the Haslemere area currently has vacancies for RGN and RMN Registered Nurses to join their team, with days or nights available.

Details of this Staff Nurse vacancies and what the home is offering:

• A permanent contract to work 40 hours per week, with flexible shifts available including permanent days, nights, or rotating shifts
• Very competitive hourly pay rates in the region of £19.48 to £21 per hour, which is in line with NHS Band 7 pay rates and equates to a salary of up to £43,600

In this Staff Nurse role, you will manage and implement care for a caseload of residents in the home, ensuring care plans are up to date and meeting both resident needs and legal requirements.  You will also safely manage and administer drugs and medications in addition to leading and supporting a team of HCAs on shift.

What we are looking for in a Staff Nurse:

• NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN
• Ideally demonstrate some post-registration experience (preferably within an elderly care setting) although newly qualified nurses will also be considered for this position
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive approach and committed to delivering the highest standards of care
