A small elderly and dementia nursing home in a village on the outskirts of High Wycombe is looking to recruit an RGN Registered Nurse to join their nursing team on a permanent basis.
The fully CQC compliant home is locally owned and operated and provides a fantastic environment to older people with a range of 24 hour care needs.
Details of this Staff Nurse role and what the home is offering:
- A permanent contract to work 24 to 36 hours per week on flexible shifts covering a 7 day rota, ideally working a mix of days and nights but perm days or nights will also be considered
- Depending on experience, competitive hourly pay rates of £17.50 to £20 per hour, which is in line with NHS Band 6/7 rates and which equates to an annual salary in the region of £37,440 for the higher rate and full-time hours
- Breaks are paid
- A comprehensive induction and opportunities for training and development
In this role you will contribute to the excellent standards of care in the home, with duties including care plan management, medication administration and recording, and leading a small care team in the delivery of resident care.
Applicants for this Staff Nurse post should be/have:
- NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA
- Ideally experienced in a UK nursing home setting, or have a genuine interest in elderly and dementia care
- Flexible to work shifts over a 7 day rota and meet the needs of a 24 hour care service
- Demonstrate a stable employment history and able to offer commitment and longevity to the role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable nature
- Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to delivering the highest standards of care
