A leading private hospital in the Gloucester area is looking to recruit a Registered Adult Nurse/RGN to join their management team as Surgical Ward Manager, this would be on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Surgical Ward Manager role and what the hospital is offering:

  • A competitive annual pay of between £40,000 and £45,000
  • A permanent full-time contract of 37.5 hours per week

As a Surgical Ward Manager, you will manage the day to day running of the Surgical Ward department. You will lead a team of highly qualified nurses and provide excellent patient care. You will use your existing knowledge to make a valuable contribution to the patients experience in the hospital.

What we’re looking for in a Surgical Ward Manager:

  • NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN
  • You must have considerable nursing experience as a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse
  • Current Ward Manager experience is desired
  • Nursing management experience is essential
  • You must be highly motivated, engaged and organised
  • Good clinical knowledge and understanding
