£19.25 p/h (NHS Band 6) – Circa £40k | 40 Hours – Days | Fully Supernumerary

A large private nursing home in the Poulton area is currently looking to recruit a Registered Adult Nurse to work as Unit Manager on a permanent basis.

Details of this Unit Manager position and what the home is offering:

•              A permanent contract to work 40 hours per week on fully supernumerary

•              Shift pattern options of 08:00am – 16:00pm or 09:00am – 17:00pm

•              Great rates of pay of £19.25 per hour, which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates and an annual salary in the region of £40,000

•              Paid breaks

•              A comprehensive induction plus excellent prospects for training and development opportunities

As Unit Nurse Manager, you will coordinate the planning and implementation of care within a small unit within in the home, along with managing and monitoring service delivery.  You will lead and develop the care and nursing team, motivating the teams to deliver the best possible standards of care and quality of life.

The successful candidate for this Unit Nurse Manager position will be:

•              NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD

•              Experienced in a leadership or managerial capacity in a UK nursing home setting

•              Demonstrate good working knowledge of DoLS and MCA in addition to CQC essential standards and medication management requirements

•              Able to effectively create and manage care plans and undertake clinical risk assessments
